Title: Hail storm
On Saturday 25 October 2008 we were hit by a severe hail storm. The countryside looked as if there had been a snowfall. Holes were punched in alsynite roofing and the leaves were stripped from many trees and shrubs.
Our main concern was the animals. As a precaution we moved the female alpacas to a more protected paddock as it was very cold and they had been shorn only two weeks earlier.
All the alpacas survived the drama without any problems. .jpg) .jpg)

Title: 2007 Brisbane Royal Show (the Ekka)
We took three of our alpacas to the Brisbane Royal Show. Nattaginni Geisha Girl continued her run of blue ribbons winning the Intermediate Fawn Females class. While Nattaginni Black Magic and Nattaginni Sweet Music were awarded First and Second in the Junior Black Females class.
This was our final show for this year and we have been very happy with the achievements of our alpacas throughout this show season.

Title: 2007 Sunshine Coast Show
We continued our run of success this year at the recent Sunshine Coast Show. We submitted five females for judging and they all received ribbons. The outstanding result was Nattaginni Moonlight being awarded Champion Intermediate Female. Moonlight has been shown twice now and has been Champion Intermediate Female both times. Nattaginni Dreamtime also did very well being awarded Reserve Champion Intermediate Female at her first showing. Nattaginni Geisha Girl was first in her class while Nattaginni Sweet Music and Nattaginni Black Magic were Second and Third in their class.

Title: 2007 Gympie Show
We took two females to the Gympie Show and are very excited at how well they went. The younger one, Nattaginni Geisha Girl, won her class and went on to be awarded Reserve Champion Junior Female. The other girl, Nattaginni Moonlight, also won her class and then went one better and was awarded Champion Intermediate Female. These two are the first progeny by our sire, Chiverton Hero, to be shown which augers well for his future as a sire.
